Ever since I learned that there is no such thing as writer’s block. I have been writing daily. And I noticed that writing is a little bit of a game.
A game named “Write & Publish!”
A game against yourself.
A game that requires practice.
A game of different alternatives.
A game where you start being bad but you get better.
A game about finding the best way to convey your message.
A game where you only score when you press the ”Publish!” button.
A game where today you may feel you lost.
But that regardless of the results you have a new opportunity the next day.
Play “Write & Publish!” The benefits are enormous. It brings you joy. And your brain learns that you have to write anyway. So he starts to push yourself to get better! And after a couple of weeks, when you look back and see what you have created. You have more than a smile. With pride, you say: “I did this. I am on my way!”
Be willing to be bad at the beginning to get good in the future. Have in mind the writer that you will become if you practice, deliberately. As Hemingway confided to F. Scott Fitzgerald in 1934. “I write one page of masterpiece to ninety-one pages of
